Big data on innovative materials - BigMax
Twelve facilities of the Max Planck Society combine their know-how in data-driven materials science, cooperating in MaxNet on Big-Data-Driven Materials Science, or BigMax for short.
In BigMax, Max Planck researchers want to compile the results of measurements and calculations of the structures and properties of countless materials in order to search them for patterns. In this way, they want to identify the best material for a specific purpose more easily than before.
