NOMAD-PRACE Remote Visualization Workshop

NOMAD hosted a Remote Visualization workshop in collaboration with PRACE, 24 April 2017 in Munich, Germany.

The workshop provided NOMAD with a detailed review of common remote visualization software stacks, focusing on tools allowing web-based interaction. The caveats and pitfalls of the different tools, and information on how to avoid problems was presented. A tutorial was performed using the technologies most relevant to the NOMAD use case. Speakers from the workshop created a proof-of-concept software tool, which was demonstrated at the workshop and provided to the NOMAD team for use, study and inspiration.
